Edder started his IT career upon the completion of high school with an internship from AmeriCorps. His first assignment was with the Jefferson Parish Public School System as an IT Field Technician. He later joined HRI in April 2013 as a Helpdesk Technician. Edder’s career at HRI has allowed him to work alongside operations teams and corporate personnel. He has assisted with development projects and ensured they run smoothly. He also makes it a priority to help co-workers with their IT issues big or small.

Edder oversaw the migration of HRI Communities to Microsoft SharePoint. This has been a new experience and adjustment for everyone. Nonetheless, Edder believes the changes made have put the whole team at HRI in the right direction. The migration to SharePoint has reduced and solved many issues for those working remotely. Since overseeing IT for HRI Communities, Edder has also partnered with CommTech to provide everyone with much-needed support for their IT issues. Edders decision to partner with this new Help Desk was heavily influenced, because it is local and well-known all throughout the New Orleans & Jefferson Parish area.
