Chamella McPherson

With over 20 years of experience in property management, Chamella brings extensive expertise in affordable and mixed-income housing operations, regulatory compliance, and team leadership. She currently serve as General Manager at Bienville Basin, a mixed-income community where I oversee the daily operations and strategic performance of 682 residential units.

Prior to her current role, she served as Property Manager, where she developed a strong foundation in site operations, staff supervision, resident relations, and compliance within low-income housing programs. This progression has strengthened my ability to lead teams, manage complex properties, and maintain high standards of operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.

Chamella holds the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) and Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) certifications, which expands her expertise in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance and affordable housing management.
