Mid-City Commerce will transform a block of the west side of the Mid-City CNI site, fronting Lake Street, into a 62-unit new construction, mixed-use community.
As part of the ongoing mission to satisfy the demand for quality, resilient, and affordable housing in Lake Charles, HRI Communities is planning the development of Mid-City Commerce, the third phase in the Mid-City Choice Neighborhood Initiative (CNI) redevelopment. Mid-City Commerce will transform a block of the west side of the Mid-City CNI site, fronting Lake Street, into a 62-unit new construction, mixed-use community. Project amenities will feature development wi-fi, security cameras, a courtyard with seating, a community room, a fitness center and approximately 2,400 square feet of ground floor retail. By providing quality housing, community spaces, and retail destinations, Mid-City Commerce will contribute to the ongoing transformation of the Lloyd Oaks public housing site into a thriving, vibrant mixed-income community.
