Vikki Cleveland

Vikki serves as Director of Insurance for the company’s diversified real estate portfolio, including development projects, hotels, and multifamily communities. She leads the procurement and management of all lines of insurance, oversees claims activity, and ensures comprehensive coverage strategies that protect the organization’s assets while optimizing cost and risk.

With more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Vikki began her career at a local agency as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, where she obtained her insurance license. She later joined a national surplus lines brokerage firm as an Assistant Underwriter and was promoted to Renewal Underwriter, ultimately leading the company’s second most profitable team. Throughout her career, she has worked on complex risks, developing deep expertise in insurance markets and policy forms.

Over the past decade, Vikki has brought this valuable experience to HRI, making a significant contribution to the company’s risk management department. She partners closely with operations, legal, finance, investors, and lenders to review and negotiate insurance requirements and align coverage strategies with market conditions and project objectives, supporting the company’s continued growth.
