NEW ORLEANS – September 21, 2016 – Homewood Suites by Hilton, the award-winning upscale, all-suite hotel brand announced today that the final beam has been placed completing the structural framework for the Homewood Suites New Orleans French Quarter. The 4-story, 207-suite hotel developed and owned by HRI Properties, is projected to open its doors by April 2017. Located at 317 N. Rampart St, New Orleans, 70112, adjacent to the historic New Orleans French Quarter and a short walk to Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, the Central Business District and the Saenger Theater, the new Homewood Suites offers an authentic French Quarter experience with its prime location. HRI Hospitality LLC, an affiliate of HRI Properties LLC, will manage the hotel under a franchise agreement from Hilton Hotels. This $40 million project is another advancement of HRI’s ongoing Bienville Basin Choice Neighborhoods revitalization of the former Iberville public housing complex.

Upon completion, the new Homewood Suites New Orleans French Quarter will provide fully-equipped kitchens, including refrigerators and dishwashers, for its one and two room suites. Guests are also afforded the essentials they need for a comfortable and convenient stay including valet parking, flexible meeting space, business center, and swimming pool and fitness facilities. Additionally, complimentary daily full-hot breakfast, evening social Monday-Thursday, Wi-Fi and grocery shopping service for an additional fee, an outdoor grill, putt-putt green, billiard room and laundry room are all available for guests to enjoy. Prior to the hotel opening, the new Rampart streetcar line is expected to be completed, giving guests access to both the Canal Street and St. Charles Avenue lines with easy access to City Park, Audubon Park, the Garden District, shopping at Canal Place and the Riverwalk, among numerous other local attractions.
