HISTORY/OVERVIEW:
River Garden CS1 is the first
phase of construction in the River Garden neighborhood at the site
of the former St. Thomas Housing Development. This phase of
new construction created 296 mixed-income duplexes, four-plexes and
townhouses. The development was designed with special
attention to New Orleans historic architectural detail, including
balconies and courtyards. The units feature energy-saving
insulation, off-street parking, 24-hour maintenance, on-site
property management and a neighborhood watch patrol.
