HISTORY/OVERVIEW:
Nissen Building Apartments is the conversion of a
1927 office building located in downtown Winston-Salem into one and
two bedroom luxury apartments. The structural integrity of
the building was preserved and the units feature high ceilings,
large original windows, alcoves, and staggered corners. The
lobby was restored to evoke the period of the late 1920's with
polished granite floors and brass-clad steel elevator
doors. Amenities include a heated rooftop pool, rooftop
cabana and wet bar, fitness center, 2,000 sq ft entertainment room
, 24-hour maintenance, high end appliances and design, and resident
social events.
