Lior Sekler is the Corporate Director of Revenue Management and Global Distribution for HRI Lodging. Lior joins the New Orleans based team with almost 10 years of hotel and corporate revenue management experience.

Prior to joining HRI Lodging, Lior was the Regional Director of Revenue Management for Sofitel Luxury Hotels supporting the North American region with a portfolio of 9 hotels in the US and Canada. He joined the Sofitel Organization after 7 years with Hilton Hotels guiding properties located in various business markets and geographic locations including Austin Convention Center, San Diego Resort on Mission Bay and Boston. Following his graduation, Lior joined “Restaurant-Trade.com” (later renamed “Avero, Inc”), an intelligence platform that provides information transparency for F&B Management, as a senior manager of business development and finance.

Upon completion of his military service in Israel as a drill instructor, Lior moved to the United States to pursue his higher education. Lior is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and a member of the Senior Honor Society of the Quill & Dagger. Through his education in dramatic arts, Lior enjoys the theatre as well as being an avid scuba diver. In his free time he enjoys competing in biathlons and triathlons and is also involved in community service through the Susan G. Koman Foundation, The Hill Country Ride for AIDS and the GMHC.
