HISTORY/OVERVIEW:
In 1940, this complex of eight four-plexes
located in New Orleans was constructed for employees of the Higgins
Marine Company which was responsible for building landing craft for
World War II. Vacant for over 10 years, HRI renovated these
buildings for affordable family housing.
