HISTORY/OVERVIEW:
In a bold ecumenical move, the two church groups
in Baton Rouge, Louisiana united to help low and moderate income
elderly. After 20 years, the building’s curtain wall system
failed. The 14-story/tower is now totally rebuilt. Exterior walls,
elevators, HVAC systems, kitchens and baths have all been renewed.
The 195 apartments continue to serve the qualified
elderly.
