With over thirty years of experience in the Hotel Industry, and throughout his career, Norman has held several prestigious positions with the Sheraton, Hyatt Regency, Radisson Corporations, along with Country Clubs in the Florida area.

A graduate of Loyola university, Norman began his career in the Hotel Industry at the Hyatt Regency of New Orleans.  After two years of service, he was transferred to the Hyatt in Sarasota, Florida where he remained for a period of two years and later opened the 630-room Hyatt Regency in Miami, Florida.

In 1983, he explored new adventures by changing his career direction and became Club Manager of the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Florida.  After realizing that he had developed a true passion for the hotel industry, he re-entered the industry by joining the PGA Sheraton in Palm Beach, Florida and eventually accepted a transfer to the Sheraton Grand Tampa.

In 1988 Norman joined the Sheraton New Orleans as Director of Sales and Marketing.  Shortly thereafter, the Sheraton Corporation, in conjunction with the City and County of Birmingham opened a 770-room property where Norman held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing.  In 1996 he returned to the New Orleans area and joined the Radisson chain as the Director of Sales and marketing at the Radisson Hotel New Orleans.

In January of 2000, Norman joined Historic Restoration Inc. Management as General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans Convention Center, a 284-room property located in the Warehouse District.  In September of 2004  Norman once again ventured along with Historic Restoration Inc. Management in the Inauguration of their newest development in the hospitality industry, the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBD.  As Executive Vice-President of Hotel Operations, Norman oversees the daily operations of both the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans Convention Center and the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBD hotel along with our newest management opportunity at the Chateau Sonesta.
